CELPIP-General is one of the English tests IRCC accepts for permanent residence and citizenship applications. It is computer-delivered in a single sitting of under three hours, and results are reported as CELPIP Levels, which correspond to the Canadian Language Benchmarks used on an application. Which level you need depends on the programme — IRCC is the only authority on that.

Written across CLB 5, 7, 9 and 10
Every corpus is banded, so practice at CLB 5 reads like CLB 5 and practice at CLB 10 reads like CLB 10. Each band has its own mock exam — two at CLB 7 and CLB 9 — and each Writing prompt has a model answer written at that band rather than above it.
No invented score
Paragon publishes how CELPIP Levels map to CLB and the CEFR, but not a table converting correct answers into a level. So the app reports accuracy per skill, per band and per mock, and the topics you are weakest on — and never turns a percentage into an official-looking number.

Listening
The six official parts: problem solving, a daily-life conversation, listening for information, a news item, a discussion, and viewpoints. 38 items, up to 55 min.
Reading
The four official parts, each drawn as the card it really is: correspondence, a diagram, information, and viewpoints. 38 items, up to 56 min.
Writing
30 prompts, each carrying both official tasks: an email (26 min) and a survey response (27 min), 53 min in total. Model answers are written at the band, not above it.
Speaking
56 tasks covering all eight CELPIP task types, each with a recorded model answer. Record yourself and compare; the recording never leaves your device.
Timed mock exams
6 full mocks — one for every band, with a second paper at CLB 7 and CLB 9 and no question shared. Listening and Reading are published as ranges; the app takes the upper bound of each, so a mock is never tighter than the real sitting.
