By using the CELPIP Test app, you accept the following terms.
1. What this app is
CELPIP Test is an unofficial practice app for the CELPIP-General test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Paragon Testing Enterprises, the University of British Columbia, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), or the Government of Canada. It does not deliver the test, does not register you for it, and issues no certificate or score of any kind.
2. Content
All questions, audio recordings, reading documents and Writing and Speaking prompts are original and authored by AZSoft in the format of the real test. They are not past papers and are not supplied by Paragon Testing Enterprises. Organisation names appearing in the practice material are fictional.
3. Permitted use
You may use the app for your own personal study. You may not:
- Copy, redistribute or resell the questions, audio or any other content
- Systematically extract the data or the audio files
- Use the app commercially without written permission
- Attempt to circumvent security, payment or authentication mechanisms
4. Subscription and payment
CELPIP Test offers limited free access — a number of practice sessions plus a mock exam preview — after which full content requires a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you manage and cancel it in your store account settings, not in the app.
5. Third-party trademarks
CELPIP and CELPIP-General are registered trademarks of Paragon Testing Enterprises, a subsidiary of the University of British Columbia. They are used here descriptively, to state which test this app prepares for. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is claimed or implied.
6. No score, no level, no outcome
Paragon publishes how CELPIP Levels correspond to the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) and the CEFR, but it does not publish a table converting a number of correct answers into a level — the real test is scored against Paragon's own rubric. This app therefore reports your practice accuracy and never converts it into a CELPIP Level or a CLB level. Nothing in the app predicts your result, your eligibility, your Comprehensive Ranking System score or the outcome of any immigration application.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the app available at all times. It may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates. Practice content works offline after the first launch.
8. Limitation of liability
AZSoft cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, including failing the CELPIP test, a refusal of a visa, permanent residence or citizenship application, or any decision taken on the basis of the app's content. The app is a study aid; the only authoritative source on the test is Paragon Testing Enterprises, and the only authoritative source on immigration requirements is IRCC.
9. Intellectual property
The original content (questions, audio, images, explanations, scenarios, interface and learning algorithms) is the exclusive property of AZSoft. No content may be reproduced without written permission.
10. Minimum age
13 and over.
11. Changes
Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable where you live.
